Job Description

An Application manager will be part of the core digital team and lead the application management initiatives. The Application manager will manage multiple applications implemented at ISDM and will be responsible for software implementation, troubleshooting, and backend management for off-the-shelf applications, coordination with internal teams and external partners, and managing modifications, acceptance and commissioning of the applications and features.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Oversee several teams and execute a wide range of projects, including assisting in the selection of off-the-shelf products, implementing enhancements, conducting data analysis, and managing infrastructure.
• Manage multiple software implementation projects and lead delivery of diverse requirements in application enhancement.
• Manage a large application portfolio and develop a deep understanding of all the applications used at ISDM.
• Determine and define the requirements, scope, estimates, plans and deliverables for any requirement from any internal team to external vendors and vice versa.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and partners.
• Manage applications reporting and escalations.
• Manage modifications and proposals for updates.
• Leverage best practices, techniques, standards and processes and mentor other teams for usage of features of an application.
• Perform benchmarking and identify areas for improvement in various applications.  

Educational Qualifications and Experience required

• 10-15 years of experience in project management.
• Ability to work and manage diverse stakeholders.
• Having worked in the education sector or knowledge creation space would be preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with SAAS-based applications.
• Experience in project management processes & tools.
• Experience using Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Proven ability to complete projects as per scope and timeline.
• Experienced in application architecture, SAAS, Cloud, Data Analytics.
