Job Opportunity for Manager (Corporate Fundraising) at Helpage India in New Delhi

Reporting to: Head – Resource Development
Location: Head office (Delhi)
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Management, with a specialization in Sales & Marketing
• 5-7 years of experience in business development, of which at least 2 years should be in Corporate Fundraising with a reputed and established NGO

Role/ Responsibilities:

• Help implement strategy and roadmap for Corporate Fundraising for HelpAge at a PAN India level, to achieve Corporate Fundraising target
• Central resource point for HelpAge India’s States for outreach to Corporates and support fulfilment of each State’s Corporate Fundraising Target – building fund-raising capacity of Corporate Fundraising Team PAN India
• Compilation & Management of a Corporate Database of Potential Donor Prospects PAN India
• Researching and identifying potential match funding opportunities for donors and corporates PAN India – Active pre-sales research on companies and their net profits, CSR spends, CSR initiatives undertaken
• Responsible for contacting, understanding the CSR policies and budgets, setting up meetings for CFR Teams, raising funds from Corporates PAN India
• Attending forums and networks with sector/non-sectoral representatives for networking and outreach
• Building new relationships, and strengthen existing relationships with key donors
• Preparation and submission of Proposals, contacting over phone, fixing of appointments with key persons, presentation of organizational activities for CSR representative at various locations
• Donor servicing and reporting on a regular basis to ensure retention and proper management of corporate donors
• Support Head – RD in reporting and presentation
• Uphold and support the elder cause in day to day life, and support other Fundraising functions

Key Technical Attributes:

• Should have excellent Presentation and communication skills
• Should have flair for selling and relationship management.
• An exposure to social marketing / concept marketing is desirable
• Should have excellent networking skills
• Should have an understanding of finance as well as commercial issues
• Should have well developed quantitative and analytical abilities
• Remuneration will be as per HelpAge India’s overall salary structure.
