SOS Children’s Villages of India was established in 1964 at Faridabad near Delhi. SOS India has worked with children, communities, disaster struck and disaster-prone areas, giving hope to weary communities and families. Manager-Corporate Partnerships

Function

Corporate Partnership.

Reporting to

Sr. Manager-CP

Purpose:

  • To increase face to face solicitations with Corporate donors to meet the fund raising objectives of SOS India and to ensure end to end donor servicing.

1. Job Description

Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for achieving the fund raising targets – personally initiate corporate tieups in assigned area – with special focus on closing deals / donations and achieving set targets as per the objectives of the organisation.
  • Monitor achievement of Fund Raising targets and Obtain information on best practices/success stories from team members to build capabilities and increase fund generation.
  • Co-ordinate internal communications and awareness of organisation direction, mission, aims and activities.
  • Responsible for conducting survey of potential markets for fund raising
  • Responsible to conduct various fundraising initiatives.
  • Responsible for proposal writing/processing of grant application/ Submission of FUC and progress report can come / volunteering engagements with corporate employees.
  • Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions.
  • Conduct research to identify the goals, net worth, history of charitable donations or other data related to potential donors.
  • Create or update donor database with complete profiling.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential donors.
  • Monitor budgets, expense and progress reports for corporates to ensure everything in sync with legal document like MOU.

2. Should have prior experience in

  • Proposal and concept note writing.
  • Complete understanding of CSR domain & latest trend
  • Good in Presentation skills and preparation of PPT.
  • 6-7 years’ experience in Corporate fundraising in NGO.

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communications skills in English. Must have significant and proven writing skills.
  • Should be well conversant with MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint and internet.

5. Educational qualification

  • Master’s degree / Diploma in a field with relevance to the position.
