WHO ARE WE: Instituted on August 16, 2016, Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited. A Section 8 company, it is spread across 11 units, most of them in the two states of Jharkhand and Odisha. With a vision to create an enlightened and equitable society, we are committed to playing a larger role in India’s sustainable development by embedding wider economic, social, and environmental objectives through our programmes.

The Communication vertical of Tata Steel Foundation is an emerging vertical that brings to the table an element of scouting for the right intent, talent and zeal befitting the ever-spreading universe of development communication. It has been evolving rapidly and continued to encompass a newer and more exciting lens on the communication of our programmes, leading to the larger endeavor of creating impact ecosystems within the universe of the Foundation. Following are some of the core areas that the Communication engages in:
- Brand Strategy and implementation
- Digital Communication
- Internal Communication
- Organizational Content
- Thematic Communication
We are looking for suitable placement for sub-vertical:
6.External Communications (locational)
Key Deliverables:
- Contribute to the Annual Business Planning of Communications
- Enhance the global digital development communications network on a yearly basis.
- Establish the national media connect for Tata Steel Foundation in close collaboration with
- Corporate Communications.
- Create roadmaps to continuously project programmes that enhance the Corporate Equity Index of
- TSF onto national and global online platforms.
- Be visible across the Foundation’s ecosystem, to execute points 2-4.
Deliverable/ output: The role harbours an expected output of enhanced visibility of brand TSF and its senior leadership across the national and global development space through identifying the right platforms and presenting the correct context or content.
Outcome: To contribute to the Communication’s objective of ensuring TSF is identified as the most respected entity in global development space.

Min. Qualification: Bachelor and preferably Masters in English/ Journalism or a related degree.
Min No. of years of experience: 3 years of experience in creating content for an organization Experience in NGO/ Development Sector will be preferred
