We seeking to hire Manager- Institutional Donor Management in our Fundraising department.

Location: Based in Mumbai (Head Office)

Reporting to: Director- Partnerships – CSR & Philanthropy.

Job Profile –

Responsible for primarily managing grants from existing donor partnerships (80%) and raising funds (20%) through Institutions (CSR, Grants, Donations) and Corporate & Global Foundations, Int’l Aid, Multi-lateral agencies and other similar institutional sources. The role would entail end-to-end management of relationships & engagement with a set of such donors; with support from other functions i.e. internal stakeholders – for impact & project reporting and utilization of funds (Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation, Communications, Program teams, FR team and CEO office).

Role will broadly include-  

  • Achieve realistic time-bound retention + growth of current and past institutional donor relationships, a portion of fundraising targets, agreed in consultation with key staff (Program teams, Finance etc.), FR Director, CEO and the Founders.
  • Travel to Raigad & Nashik (When required & Scheduled) for all donors & prospect site visits & local official events.
  • Develop standardised fundraising materials and publicity collateral for pitching and awareness
  • Co-own reports & communication to be shared with current donors.
  • Managing & retaining existing and new donor relationships, maintaining records of MOUs, proposals, aim for donor delight to ensure continued year on year support on the programs with our organisation.
  • Ability to understand and analyse costs / budgets and question program spends proposed for funding
  • Ability to engage with CXOs and Boards to understand and present collaboration & project updates, pitches and make presentations including review of supported programs and opportunities ahead

Qualifications and Experience–

  • Any graduate / post graduate in management studies
  • 7+ years of experience in Fundraising, B2B Sales, Bus Dev., Relationship management and/or direct reporting to CEO/COO/CFO.
  • Exposure to the social sector / directly in an NGO (preferred)
