Job Opportunity for Manager – Social & Economic Empowerment at IPE Global in New Delhi

We are looking to recruit Manager/Senior Manager(s) who will lead the management and expansion of the exciting work undertaken by the Social and Economic Empowerment (SEE) Practice of IPE Global in India and East Africa. She/he will primarily be responsible for Business Development, which includes gaining early business insights and leading proposal writing; upon win, setting up teams for implementation, and then taking on pogramme management function for the successful delivery of the programme/project.

Social and Economic Empowerment (SEE) practice at IPE Global has substantial experience delivering multi-year and high-impact programmes. These programmes are supported by leading donors and foundations and are implemented in partnership with coveted research institutions, civil society organisations, and public institutions. The Manager/Senior Manager will work with a team of high-performing professionals.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Pursuing business opportunities, preparation of the technical and commercial proposals and concept notes, interactions with clients
• Interact with potential clients and Business Development prospecting.
• Make presentation or participate in meetings with clients for project related discussion, sharing of findings, etc.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, vendors, consortium partners, external consultants, etc. regularly or as and when required.

Project Management

• Conducting desk and field research
• Create/format draft reports, presentations, subject briefs, articles, Thought Leadership documents
• Undertake qualitative data collection and stakeholder’s consultation
• Support in project operations/budgeting, and developing MIS, dashboards
• Support project management, monitoring and implementation
• Execution of project activities and delivery of outputs
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports
• Documentation and report writing
• Designing and developing key client deliverables
• Active participation in management of various on-going and future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in international development, gender studies, sociology, economics, or other relevant field.
• At least 5-6 years of relevant experience. Previous experience of leading proposal development for bilateral/multi-lateral organizations, foundations, philanthropies.
• Proven experience of working with Governments and international aid agencies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex information.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic teams.
• Preference for candidate with knowledge and skills of project management
• Must possess good writing and presentation skills.
