We work at the pan-India level with our Teams at Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore. We are also an executive committee member of Bharat Digital Platform under the aegis of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. We spearhead two collaborative platforms; India Livelihoods Collective and IMPAct4Nutrition.

We have been implementing CSR projects for a few large CSR companies including IBM, Diageo, Cadila Pharma, Arvind Ltd, Airbus, PNB Housing Finance, and others. We have our programs in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

About the Position

As the Senior Manager – Social Impact Solutions, you will play a critical leadership role in developing, executing, and overseeing strategic initiatives that drive positive social impact and sustainability. Your responsibilities will encompass leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with external partners, and aligning efforts to achieve the organization’s social responsibility goals. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, project management expertise, and a deep commitment to driving meaningful change.

Responsibilities

Social Impact Strategy:

o    Lead the formulation of a comprehensive and innovative social impact strategy.

o    Collaborate with executive leadership to align social responsibility initiatives with the company’s mission and values.

o    Identify emerging societal challenges and opportunities to create a meaningful impact.

Initiative Development and Execution:

o    Drive the design and execution of impactful social impact initiatives, programs, and campaigns.

o    Oversee cross-functional teams, providing guidance, setting objectives, and ensuring successful delivery.

o    Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and manage budgets.

o    Need assessment of the requirements of other Stakeholders, including but not restricted to State government & district administration, civil society and the community along with the team.

Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement:

o    Build and nurture relationships with external partners, NGOs, community organizations, and regulatory bodies.

o    Collaborate with partners to co-create and implement high-impact social initiatives.

o    Foster engagement and alignment with internal stakeholders, including employees and leadership.

o    Explore partnerships and collaborations with like-minded organisations, research institutions and tech-driven enterprises.

Impact Measurement and Reporting:

o    Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the impact of initiatives.

o    Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress, outcomes, and effectiveness of social impact programs.

o    Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.

Employee and Community Engagement:

o    Develop strategies to engage employees and promote a culture of social responsibility.

o    Plan and execute events, workshops, and activities that encourage employee participation and community involvement.

o    Lead efforts to integrate social impact into the organizational culture.

o    Keep an eye on the evolving CSR ecosystem and spot opportunities for collaborations and new lead generation

o    Work with the top and mid-level leadership in building industry association partnerships

Sustainability Integration:

o    Collaborate closely with relevant departments to integrate sustainability practices across the business.

o    Work with supply chain, operations, and marketing to embed responsible practices throughout the value chain.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

o    Stay at the forefront of social impact trends, best practices, and emerging sustainability technologies.

o    Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of current initiatives and propose enhancements.

Innovate and adapt strategies to address evolving societal and environmental challenges.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

  • A post-graduate degree in Management / Social Science Stream / Rural Management.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the CSR Domain (CSR Domain Experience Means work related to Sec 135 of Companies Act) with a minimum of 2+ years of work experience in consulting, CSR project management in a corporate environment or in social enterprise
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing social impact initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of social impact strategies, sustainability frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB) and impact assessment methodologies.
  • Passion for social responsibility, sustainability, and making a positive impact on society.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working in rural or remote zones.
  • Willingness to travel for project work
