About the Project: Jaga Mission Project aims to contribute to the continued endeavor of the state government of Odisha in implementing landmark legislation aimed at granting land rights to residents of slums and informal settlements across the five corporations of the state and redevelopment of slums into liveable habitat.

Key Deliverables:

  • Enable the project team with data management, analysis and presentation of data. Basic knowledge on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will be preferred.
  • Collaborate with Government; District Administration and other stakeholders to define the data requirement and support flow of information.
  • Anchor the data management and support the team in taking decision.
  • Support District Administration, Urban Local Bodies (ULBS) and Tata Steel Foundation Technical Agency for coordination, data exchange and presentation.
  • Streamline and coordinate the activities of Technical Agency to achieve the project deliverables.
  • Coordinate data collection, management and analysis on continuous basis and share relevant data/ information with concerned stakeholders.
  • Suggest innovative appropriate technologies to accelerate field implementation and scale-up.
  • Prepare periodic reports, document the process and ensure flow of communication within the team.

Minimum Qualification: Post graduate in GIS, geography or computer sciences or equivalent

Minimum Qualification: Three (3) (Experience of working with Government systems would be preferred)

Technical Skill Set required:

  • Project Management, Understanding of urban habitat, Land rights
