Experience:
6 to 7 experience in the development sector with at least 3 years experience in implementing community owned /managed drinking water schemes at ground level.
Skills & Competencies required:
- Annual Work Planning: Physical & Financial of the Project, for self & subordinates and Staff planning
- Review & Monitoring: Physical Monitoring –Work plan control/ check, Financial Monitoring –Financial plan control/check. Quality check of the work & monitoring of the staff.
- Piloting digital Tools like PDA (personal digital assistant (PDA), weekly virtual sessions, digital content development, and digital cross-learning which can capacitate all the stakeholders
- Developing the communication material to create awareness of the scheme at different levels.
- Providing the training of government officials identified by the department of Panchayati Raj using standard modules.
- Facilitating the exposure visit of government officials and support agencies to the existing community-managed drinking water schemes.
- Providing leadership and technical support to teams at SHTs to develop conceptual clarity and address the issues on water and sanitation and its convergence with other themes and developmental needs of the area.
- Preparing training calendar based on training needs assessment of staff and supporting teams in completing capacity-building activities.
- Programmatic Reporting and establishing the Monitoring system for effective tracking of programme.
Job Profile:
Liasoning & Inter-institutional linkages- Liasoning with the Govt. department, Academic Institutes, other NGOs, and development organizations.
Leading a team of development Specialist, development officers, volunteers, and para workers
Develop and implement strategies of WASH related project
Developing modules on the different training while referring to the guidelines and further instruction issued by the Panchyati Raj secretary, GoB for smooth operation and maintenance of drinking water schemes established under “Mukhya Mantri Payjal Nishchay Yojana (MGPNY)”.
Enabling behavior change to people / Gram Panchayats members/ WIMC through the different tool of communication to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of drinking water schemes
Establishing an effective relationship with Panchayati Raj Department at the state/ District level.
Facilitating State level ToT for roles and responsibilities of WIMC in long-term operation & maintenance of piped water supply schemes and leveraging 15th finance commission.
Facilitating local entrepreneurs for providing drinking water services, ensuring minor and major services required in terms for better functionality of drinking water schemes
Capacity building of PRI members and WIMC about successful implementation of operation & Maintenance
