Job title: Master Trainer & Curriculum Developer 
Location: Mumbai
Team: Curriculum & Design 
Reports to: Curriculum Lead

Key relationships:   

Internal: Project Heads, Executive Director  

External: Partner Clients, Teachers & Trainers.

Role purpose:  

To design and develop the curriculum and train the teachers of Sols ARC and partner  organizations

Key Responsibilities 

Deliverable Outcomes

Curriculum Development 

∙ Design specialized pedagogy based on Sol’s ARC  Framework.
 
∙ Design activities, lesson plans, worksheets, and evaluations on grade content. 

∙ Adapt and modify the content for primary and middle school based on the National Curriculum Framework.

Training

∙ Train trainees in the pedagogy developed. 

∙ Prepare Training materials, schedules and conduct trainings.

∙ Curriculum testing and evaluation

∙ Act as a mentor for the trainees.

∙ Conduct field observations and modify training as required.

∙ Train Master Trainers from partner organizations.

∙ Teaching and assessment of Special needs children

Person specification 

Qualification:

∙ Post Graduate with Knowledge in English & Math

Prior Experience:

∙ 5 to 8 years 

∙ Must have the experience of teaching in primary &  middle school

Essential skills:

∙ Strong writing skills 

∙ In-depth knowledge in Ms. Office and strong online  research skills

∙ Knowledge in special needs sector

∙ Strong oral and written communication in English

∙ Observation and Monitoring skills

Essential attributes:

∙ Collaborative, team-focused, and willing to use skills  to support others’ work 

∙ Highly organized and capable of planning, managing,  and executing initiatives from start to finish

∙ Ability to work independently and with digital tools,  prioritize tasks, work under tight timeframes, and  meet deadlines

∙ Ability to write and articulate/communicate complex  ideas in simple, understandable terms

∙ Humility, willingness to consider others’ perspectives ∙ Commitment to gender equality, diversity, and  inclusion

Other Specification 

∙ Must have a passion and charisma to train and travel  across rural and urban places in India.

10 am – 6 pm / Mon-Fri
