**About the Role**

Khan Academy India is seeking a highly motivated Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for executing and guiding both internal and third-party M&E projects, playing a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of our programs. 

 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, including:

 

* Conducting a randomized control trial in government schools to analyze the impact of the Khan Academy program.

* Launching a pilot program for Khanmigo (our Generative AI tool) in government and private schools across India.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* **M&E Project Execution:** Lead and guide M&E projects, including developing logical frameworks, identifying key indicators, designing monitoring strategies, and coordinating fieldwork with internal and external stakeholders.

* **Data Management:** Ensure efficient data collection, storage, and management, maintaining data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility for analysis.

* **Analysis and Reporting:** Analyze data to extract actionable insights and compile comprehensive reports for stakeholders, highlighting program progress, outcomes, and impact.

* **Feedback and Recommendations:** Provide evidence-based recommendations to program managers and stakeholders, guiding strategy refinement, performance enhancement, and future decision-making.

* **Capacity Building:**  Train and support team members and stakeholders to enhance M&E skills, ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of our M&E practices.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Relevant experience in the Monitoring & Evaluation field is highly preferred.

* Strong understanding of social sector program evaluation and design.

* Ability to utilize first-principle thinking and analytical intuition.

* Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact.

* Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a focus on theory of change and logical frameworks.

* Proven track record of successfully executing and driving research projects.

* Background in Education/EdTech sector is strongly preferred.

* Proficiency in data wrangling, cleaning, and conducting exploratory analyses.

* Basic experience with R/Python and SQL.

* Ability to effectively present research findings through concise tables, charts, and visualization techniques.

* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
