**Job Description:**

Jhpiego seeks a highly motivated and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join our team in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.  The M&E Officer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems for various health projects.  This will involve collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to track progress, measure impact, and inform program improvement.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement M&E plans for health projects, including the design of data collection tools and methodologies.

* Conduct regular data collection and quality assurance activities.

* Analyze data using appropriate statistical methods and prepare reports summarizing findings.

* Develop and maintain databases and data visualization tools.

* Provide technical assistance to project staff on M&E issues.

* Participate in project meetings and contribute to program planning and implementation.

* Collaborate with other M&E staff and stakeholders.

* Disseminate findings through reports, presentations, and other communication channels.

**Qualifications:**

* Master’s degree in public health, statistics, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in M&E, preferably in the health sector.

* Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E systems for health projects.

* Strong analytical and data management skills.

* Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, Stata).

* Excellent report writing and communication skills.

* Experience working in India, particularly in Uttar Pradesh, is preferred.

* Fluency in English and Hindi is required.

**Experience Required:** 3-5 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably in the health sector.
