**Position:** Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Currently, PATH is supporting the State Government of Uttar Pradesh with technical assistance through projects focused on vector-borne diseases like Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), LF, VL, Dengue-Chikungunya, and Malaria.

 

**Role and Responsibilities:**

– Facilitate the establishment of standard tools and processes for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in the AES project.

– Implement the M&E plan and monitor project progress as outlined in annual work plans.

– Improve and sustain data collection systems to support project implementation.

– Coordinate with state program officers for smooth MEL framework implementation.

– Review project data regularly for planning and implementation, sharing insights at national and state levels.

– Conduct capacity building for staff and stakeholders through workshops and meetings.

– Provide technical support in data management, quality assurance, analytics, and visualization tools (Excel, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI).

– Monitor the timeliness and completeness of data reporting from blocks and districts.

– Support infectious diseases cluster activities as assigned.

 

**Required Skills and Experience:**

– Postgraduate degree (MBA/MCA/PGDCA) with additional qualifications in public health or statistics preferred.

– 5+ years of experience in public health data management at national, state, or district levels.

– Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CSPro/ODK, and GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS).

– Familiarity with PATH’s work in Uttar Pradesh and experience working with state surveillance units or communicable diseases departments is an advantage.

– Understanding of government and NGO operations.

– Strong planning, monitoring, and organizational skills.

– Experience in facilitating coordination and working independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
