Job Summary:

The HR Officer is a critical role in the HR Management function at AIFT. The role will involve collaborating effectively with people at all job levels and interacting with a diverse group of individuals and personalities to ensure the achievement of organizational goals and driving the HR agenda.

You must be passionate about engaging with each employee and you must have experience in handling the various facets of HR functions especially recruitment, onboarding & induction, employee life cycle management, internal communication and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job portals.

2. HRIS Adoption & Utilization:

  • Drivethe adoption and effective use of HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS.
  • Work closely with IT to address any system-related issues and implement improvements.

3. HR Operations Across the Employee Life Cycle:

  • Oversee HR operations throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Manage employee records.

4. Grievance Redressals:

  • Coordinate and track grievance resolutions related to disciplinary, discrimination, code of conduct, and similar issues.
  • Maintain documentation for grievance cases.

5. Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (PoSH):

  • Support PoSH compliance with external member engagement and documentation.
  • Conduct and organize Internal Committee (IC) training and staff sensitization programs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and support for PoSH compliance.

6. Engagement:

  • Manage staff retreats, recognition plans, and execution of annual gifts.

7. Performance Management:

  • Facilitate probation debriefs, monthly check-in calls, and confirmation processes.
  • Review and organize confirmation forms and letters.

8. Statutory Compliances:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation and update policies accordingly.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.

9. Rewards & Recognition:

  • Design and implement rewards and recognition programs.
  • Track and report on employee performance and recognition metrics.

10. Learning and Development:

  • Collaborate with departments to identify training needs.
  • Develop and implement learning and development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs.

11. Contracts:

  • Manage new hire contracts, renewals, conversions, and closures.
  • Update and escalate contract trackers at defined intervals.
  • Organize and share contracts for audits and internal consumption.

12. Email Management:

  • Create, delete, reset passwords, forward emails, and manage email groups.
  • Monitor AIFT WhatsApp group for accuracy.

13. Probation Management:

  • Conduct probation debriefs and monthly check-in calls.
  • Track and escalate confirmation form processes.
  • Review and organize confirmation letters.

14.Data & MIS:

  • Generate HR data and quarterly reports.
  • Conduct surveys and compile results for external HR surveys (GPTW)

Key skills and competencies:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Design, Educational or
  • Organizational Psychology, Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in HR, or similar relevant degree.
  • 05 -08 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Should have experience working with growth-oriented organizations/teams.
  • Strong experience in collaborating with colleagues to drive results.
  • Demonstrated successful experience working with detailed information and numerical data and presenting it in a way that is easily understood by people at different levels in the organization.
  • Experience with event management.
