About the Organization

The World Skill Center (WSC) is a premier advanced skill training institute established by the Government of Odisha, Skill Development and Technical Education Department, through the Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA). Shri Naveen Patnaik, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, inaugurated the WSC on 5th March 2021. The project of establishing the WSC (Odisha Skill Development Project), is assisted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with Institute of Technical Education Services (ITEES), Singapore as the knowledge partner. The WSC will impart advanced skill training in eight trades from engineering and service sectors. WSC caters primarily to induct the best talent from ITIs and Polytechnics and train them to become globally employable in emerging areas such as “Industry 4.0”.

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager (Student Support), the Officer – Student Enrolment shall play an important role in the Student Support function of the Administration Division, with responsibility for handling student inquires on WSC’s enrolment process ensuring a high level of customer service to enable students to decide on their next steps in education.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Manager (Student Support)
• Responsible for day-to-day advisory to new student enquiries on enrolling into the WSC
• Work alongside with marketing team to understand and identify market trends and opportunities for student recruitment
• Any other duties assigned by the Admin Manager (Student Support)

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline
• 3 years of work experience in any educational/training institution
