Position Objective:

To assist with and support PETA India’s online marketing work

Associate Director of Online Marketing

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist PETA India’s Marketing Department in a variety of matters
  • Assist with the development, management, and updating of PETA India’s website content using WordPress
  • Help create online petitions and e-mail alerts on the non-profit technology platform Engaging Networks
  • Assist with managing PETA India’s pages on various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Koo, and Instagram)
  • Reply to comments on social media with approved responses several times a day
  • Stay abreast of e-mail marketing trends and strategies and suggest ideas for better performance
  • Help create social media content, including producing short video clips, creative images, and Instagram reels
  • Help develop and execute marketing plans for campaigns
  • Attend and participate in brainstorming sessions
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in a related field preferred
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Proven interest in and excellent knowledge of working online
  • Extensive knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA India campaigns
  • Sophisticated understanding and appreciation of impactful and visually appealing
  • creatives/images made for website and social media pages
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (in Hindi also preferred)
  • Proven excellent project execution, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to conduct and analyse marketing research
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Support for PETA India’s philosophy and the ability to advocate for PETA India’s positions on issues in a professional manner
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organisation
