Overview of the Role:
The person will be responsible to manage end-to-end implementation of our Peer Teaching program in 8 schools , through managing part-time fellows (college students or community champions), to ensure successful program outcomes for all the students. This will include:
1. Implementation
- Create an action plan to implement out Peer Teaching program with student groups
- Coaching & coordination with fellows for respective schools to ensure our program is implemented well
- Set up strong processes that enable smooth onboarding & daily management of students for the program
- Training of Student leaders on pedagogy and taking regular workshops for them
2. Manage relationships
- Foster positive relationships with fellows, teachers, school staff and other stakeholders to get buy-in on change efforts required at the school level
- Engaging Cluster Resource Persons and other govt officials by regular reporting, informal conversations and co-creating plan of action with them. Eventually the aim is to build a strong idea of Student Leadership and agency in them for sustainable effort
- Identify and forge new external partnerships with organizations/people aimed at addressing pressing needs at the school site
- Engage corporate volunteers via activities for effective CSR management
3. Documenting and reporting
- Lead efforts to document and report progress & program gaps/challenges on a monthly basis
- Adapt tools or surveys to evaluate, collect data and document stakeholder (parents, teachers, students) response to intervention
- Analyze feedback from students, teachers to continually improve the effectiveness of program and implementation
- Create monthly report for funders (some part of the report) and govt stakeholders (if needed)

You should have:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the education sector,
- Education: An undergraduate degree in any stream is a must; a master’s degree is a plus
- Skills: Should be a good planner and a go-getter; Should be good with on-ground work; okay to commute long distances on certain days; be patient with the outcomes; getting things done by leveraging relationships; Clear understanding of thoughts while making any decision and great communication skills; Ability to manage and inspire people
- Should have a strong sense of data collection, data analysis, knowledge of statistics and be able to set structures for operational data
- Strong work Ethics: Punctuality, Sense of environment, self-driven;
- Interests: Passionate about education; enjoys mentoring and working with school kids.
Location: Bangalore (Should be fluent in Kannada, both verbal and reading)
Compensation: INR 3.5 – 4.5 LPA CTC (Negotiable based on experience & fit)
