Brief on the Organization:

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health.  PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders.

Project Brief:

The mission of the QuEST Network is to build the evidence base to support transformation to high quality health systems by improving measurement, testing solutions, and creating generalizable knowledge in partnership with changemakers in low- and middle-income countries. The QuEST Network will be built around local research centers (QuEST Centers). The QuEST India Center at PHFI will conduct joint research, develop and fundraise for new research, and support the activities of the QuEST Network, to strenghten the health system in India.

Deliverables:

  • Maintaining office stationary, printing, faxing, scanning and administrative facility.
  • Coordination with different vendors for stationary purchase, printing and other program related activities.
  • Coordinating local transport of internal team and all stakeholders as and when required.
  • Participation and management of travel desk and all logistics for Expert Faculty Meet, Regional Faculty Meet, and any other meetings of the program at regular intervals.
  • Independent handling of faxes, photocopying, and telephone calls.
  • Supervise delivery of letters/Packets, dispatch and coordinating courier related activities.
  • Handling travel bookings of research staff, Faculty experts and all stakeholders.
  • Maintaining data of all travel booking (National or International) in required templates for smooth financial processes. Simultaneously coordinate with Travel desk for billing of the bookings.
  • Preparation of all purchase orders, vouchers and bills.
  • Assisting Data Associate in data entry and analysis.
  • Design protocols for the data safety, security and regular backup.
  • Responsible to assist the research team members and organizing meetings along with all other tasks.
  • Assist and provide guidance in preparation of purchase orders, documentation related to project vendor and staff payments. Coordinate for delivery of letters, dispatch and courier related activities.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor/PI of this project.

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Diploma in Program Management is desirable.

Experience:

Desirable:

  • Around 2-3 years of work experience in the similar position or field will be given preference.
  • Fluency in English language is required.
  • Time management skills and effective problem-solving skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work as team member.
