PATH is collaborating with the Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh to improve Medical Education and specialty services given by Medical College hospitals in the state. Accordingly, PATH proposes to establish a Program Management Unit in the Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh to support the state in monitoring and revamping medical education in government medical colleges and improve the quality of services provided. The Program Coordinator will support the operationalization of proposed medical colleges in the state by supporting the relevant departments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely implementation of the proposed interventions
  • Coordinate and support identification of infrastructure development for medical colleges
  • Support and coordinate with relevant departments for procurement of medical equipment
  • Coordinate and conduct the hospital assessments to identify gaps
  • Preparing the assessment report, presentations and other necessary documents as required
  • Support the team in the documentation of best practices and learnings etc.
  • Develop an updated database of key stakeholders and a repository of the necessary project documents
  • Support in documentation which includes preparing reports, presentations, knowledge documents, etc.
  • Support with knowledge management initiatives and lead digital literacy sessions for the external stakeholders, partners etc.
  • Support PATH team and provide technical assistance to the data processing and transformation activities
  • Perform database management duties including collection, storing, retrieving, and securing the healthcare data
  • Input, update, clean and verify project-related data from source documents to MIS.
  • Manage and work with stakeholders including government state leads and officers, private sector

Required Skills

Required Experience

  • Postgraduate in social work, public health, or civil engineering graduate with post-graduation
  • Experience of 5-6 years preferably in designing, developing, and maintaining medical infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of working with government, donors, and stakeholders will be preferred
  • Good understanding of the digital health ecosystem and/or governance domain is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic and multi-stakeholder environment
  • Excellent coordination skills, both internal across programming sectors and support teams, and externally with implementing partners
  • Must have experience in program and project management including vendor and partner engagement
