The Program Director (PD) leads the product team of potentially 3 – 4 experienced professionals. The PD will lead the identification and design of learning and development interventions for our Karuna Fellows. The role will partner closely with State Leaders, Government stakeholders and other functions within the organization.

Karuna Fellowship, a two-year pilot programme, is equipping rural women with digital skills, thereby accelerating their growth. With inclusion at its core, it has demonstrated that women’s development can lead to women-led development. The Piramal Academy of Sewa, anchored on the demonstrated success of the Gandhi Fellowship and the Karuna Fellowship, is a decisive step towards nation-building.

Each Program Director leads operations in a particular Geography and leads internal teams with expertise in specific domains like learning and development, process improvement, organizational design, curriculum development, and technology-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: The Program Director will be responsible for:

Product Development:

– Curriculum framework, tech-enabled learning products and processes for deep self-transformation for empowerment of young women from marginalized and difficult circumstances

– Innovation and expansion strategies for tech enabled livelihoods for women

People Development:

– Build a strong team of purpose driven individuals for L&D for Karuna fellowship, women entrepreneurship, and livelihood

– Develop team capacity to achieve program results, set up processes to train them on facilitation, coaching, content development

– Lead interventions to create organizational safe spaces for listening, shared meaning-making and collaborative action, strengthen employee engagement and communication

Institution Building:

– Drive product development planning and contextualisation of learning competency frameworks to develop Intellectual Property (iP) and institutional assets

– Contribute to the development and improvement of other capacity building programmes such as workshops and resources when related to learning and development

Partnerships:

– Collaborate with State Head and partner with Govt. Department to design and execute learning program

– Build and manage partnerships for gender inclusive program and content development

– Onboard partners to develop innovative tools/frameworks/systems/ technology
