About Smile Foundation:

Smile Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in New Delhi, India. It was established in 2002 and benefitting over 15,00,000 underprivileged children, youth, women and their families every year, through 400 live welfare projects on subjects such as education, healthcare, youth employability and women empowerment, across 25 states of India. Adopting a life cycle approach to development, Smile Foundation focuses its interventions on children, their families and the community.


Project Management:

• Regular monitoring reviews done with vertical heads.

• Resolve adverse complaints received from Donor.

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Recruitment and Retention:

• Make sure at least 70% retention of core team member

Program Quality:

• Regular trainings concluded with HO for Region Officers/Project Owners and Project Coordinators

• Lead the growth of the department as per the strategic growth plan

Stakeholder Nurturing:

• Atleast 80% project renewals.


• Regular product innovation in each vertical

• Frequent reflection of existing work to find the areas for improvement.

Evaluation and Monitoring:

• Overseas monitoring and evaluation of all the program verticals

Business Acumen:

• Make sure to add new elements to make the existing programs Value for Money.

• Pro-actively exploring opportunities of partnership

Collaboration and Partnership:

• Knowledge partnership under each vertical

• Attend workshops and seminars for collaborations

Vision and Value Alignment:

• 100% representation of the values and mission of the organisation. The same should be reflected in the program implementation too, so that the confidence of the external stakeholders should become more resilient.

• Represent the values of the organisation across all the departments.

Interdepartmental Support:

• Reponse promptly for all queries of other departments

• Make sure smooth coordination among all the programs

Capacity Building:

• Identify areas of development of your reportees and facilitate with HR for training and mentoring in those areas so that their individual capacity improves and adds value to the performance of the organisation.

• Mentoring of the team members, consultants and NGO partner/s for creating shared mission and goal orientation;

Time Management:

• Schedules by effectively allocating own time to complete work; coordinates own and others’ schedules to avoid conflicts

• Uses time effectively and prevents irrelevant issues
