**Job Location:** Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India (with travel within Odisha as needed)

 

**Job Summary:**

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to Odisha’s development.  The Program Manager will work closely with senior leaders across various sectors to drive key outcomes for the state and TCF.  This dynamic position requires adaptability, strong analytical skills, and a passion for impactful change.  The role reports to the Program Head, Odisha State Team, which in turn reports to TCF’s Central Policy and Government partnership team in Delhi.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* **Research and Strategy Support:** Conduct research, data analysis, and expert consultations to inform strategic recommendations.

* **Operational and Analytical Excellence:** Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs (presentations, data analysis, policy briefs). Manage day-to-day operations for effective project execution.

* **Stakeholder Management:** Collaborate effectively with government officials, partner organizations, and internal stakeholders.

* **Relationship Building:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials (including Chief Secretary and Chief Minister’s offices) to facilitate project implementation.

* **Support for Strategic Projects:** Provide operational and analytical support for high-priority projects led by the Chief Secretary’s office.

 

 

**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:**

 

* **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in top-tier consulting firms or strategy roles within fast-paced environments (start-ups, VCs, etc.). Experience working with government is desirable.

* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution.

* **Skills:**  Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills (including data analysis using Excel).  Excellent research, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.  Proven ability to build and manage relationships, collaborate effectively, and work strategically in complex environments.  Adaptability to changing conditions and a high attention to detail are essential.
