We are transforming India through volunteering, we want make volunteering a national habit. We are looking for someone passionate about promoting a strong culture of volunteerism and civic responsibility among citizens, especially corporate employees and youth

The Programme Associate (Ignite) will be responsible for day-to-day execution of all Volunteering initiatives in their respective city/region. The Associate will also be responsible for promoting volunteerism at colleges and working as one among the volunteers to execute Bhumi’s education volunteering programme.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Promoting a strong culture of volunteerism and civic responsibility among citizens.
Oversee efficient and effective day-to-day operations, volunteer mobilisation, Project Implementation and delivery of the projects
Track, analyse data, identify trends, prepare reports, and share with all relevant stake holders
Help identify and implement creative solutions for any problems
Maintaining Partnerships with Partner Organizations to manage and execute various volunteering opportunities.
Support Bhumi volunteers in regular volunteering engagements

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline
Project management experience preferred
Prior volunteering and leadership experience is mandatory
Prior experience in the non-profit sector and /or event management would be an advantage
Any Graduate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
Good influencing skills, people engagement, relationship building and listening skills
Good written and verbal communication skills– English, Local Language
Good computer knowledge and MS office skills
Highly resourceful team-player, who is self-driven
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

Other Information:

Reporting to: Programme Manager (Ignite)

Expected Age: Below 30

Scope: Full time, Willing to work flexible hours

Remuneration: Rs.2.5-3.5 lakhs per annum, based on candidate’s profile

Expected Joining Date: Immediate

Minimum commitment: Two Years
