Job Opportunity for Project Director at Grameen Foundation in New Delhi

Position:               Project Director – Full Time, 2-year contract (renewable)

Location:              New Delhi/ Gurgaon, with Frequent travel (upto 50% time) to project sites and other locations

Start Date:              November 2022

Job Summary: Grameen Foundation for Social Impact is looking for a seasoned financial sector leader with deep domain knowledge in the financial services sector. She/He will use comprehensive experience, skills, and knowledge to forge and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships, technology interventions and impact at scale in the Business Correspondent (BC) Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use strategic thinking to translate ideas and concepts from research and/or practice/policy into concrete actions and plans, and anticipate long term challenges and trends to develop appropriate strategies
• Provide primary contact for the industry partners like Banks, Regulatory Authorities, Financial Institutions, NGOs and FinTechs
• Develop detailed project plans and adhere to the Project Management methodology and use the project planning tools for project implementation including but not limited to Risk Management, Partner Engagement, Vendors, Compliance & Legal Agreements, internal and external communications, Project Schedules, and M&E.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• MBA from premier institutions, preferably with specialization in Finance/ Banking
• 12-15 years of relevant experience in banking industry particularly in Digital Financial Services and Business Correspondent sector.
• Outstanding project management skills with proven track record of achievement under challenging situations and multi-stakeholder arrangements.
