Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive, target-driven, and self-motivated go-getter with a passion for development work and relevant experience in handling and administering cross-country projects. This role will be a part of ASSIST’s Project Management Office (PMO) which support our efforts as a leading capacity development organization that works on sustainable projects to improve the lives of vulnerable communities and key target groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, measure and report the project performance to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other project management associates to collate all relevant information and act as a point of contact for all projects.
- Actively engage and maintain a sound working relationship with partners & other associates at all times.
- Prepare, draft, and finalize reports to be submitted to the donors and partners after careful review of the PMO Lead and Executive Director.
- Utilize tools, instruments, files and documents properly in the conduct of project management.
- Submit timely reports for donors, for partners, and for the management.
- Participate in regular project review meetings (weekly/monthly) to review Key Result Areas (KRA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Maintain suitable records and statistical information for management information requirements.
- Collaborate with other units and staff with regards to new developments and projects that are underway if directed by the Management.
- Provide support to other units of ASSIST if directed by the Management.
- Perform other related tasks, duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field(s) including, but not limited to, Social Science and Social Development courses.
- At least one to two years of experience in community development work and project management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent communication, listening, presentation and interpersonal skills including relationship building. The ability to speak and articulate in a meeting is critical.
- High level of initiative to work independently and self-motivated, but with essential teamwork skills.
- Highly professional attitude, and is able to work in fast-paced environments and meet urgent deadlines.
