**Position:** Project Officer/Senior Project Officer – Communications

**Experience Required:**
– **Education:** A Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Environmental Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.
– **Work Experience:** 2–4 years of relevant experience in communications, content creation, and stakeholder coordination, preferably in the development or environmental sector.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and draft communication materials such as reports, newsletters, social media content, brochures, case studies, and success stories.
2. Support the design and execution of outreach and awareness campaigns to engage stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, and partner organizations.
3. Assist in preparing high-quality presentations, briefs, and concept notes for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Ensure effective coordination among project partners, field teams, and relevant government departments.
5. Maintain communication records and support documentation for project activities, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
6. Support media engagement efforts and liaise with journalists, photographers, and communication partners as needed.
7. Develop and maintain a content calendar for project-related communication and outreach initiatives.
8. Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication efforts, providing periodic updates and reports.
9. Assist in organizing events, workshops, and community engagement programs related to the project.
10. Any other responsibilities as assigned by the project lead.
**Qualifications:**
– Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and engaging content.
– Strong coordination and organizational skills, with experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
– Proactive, smart, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Gujarati will be an added advantage.
– Willingness to travel to project locations.
