**Job Description: Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia**
**Position:** Research Associate

**About the Role:**
J-PAL South Asia seeks a Research Associate to support Prof. Natalia Rigol and Ben Roth in leading fieldwork for a project developing personalized repayment plans for microentrepreneurs. The RA will manage data, analyze findings using STATA, and oversee field activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct research design and data management.
– Analyze data using statistical tools like STATA.
– Supervise field teams and ensure compliance with protocols.
– Liaise with partner organizations and field staff.
– Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
**Required Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, social sciences, public policy, or related fields.
– Proficiency in STATA (non-negotiable).
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Ability to manage relationships with partner organizations.
– Entrepreneurial mindset and flexibility.
**Desired Qualifications:**
– Proficiency in Tamil (preferred).
– Familiarity with randomized controlled trials.
– Experience with rural enterprises.
