Location: Pune

At WOTR Centre for Resilience Studies (W-CReS) you will: 

• Be a part of a team for Action / applied research projects 
• Work in close coordination with the trans-disciplinary team including practitioners
• Develop training modules for communities and practitioners
• Write reports, publications and engage in novel ways to communicate research
• Step out into the field and in our areas of intervention

Apply if you have: 

• An M.Sc. in Botany with subject expertise of Ecology, NRM and socio-ecology 
• At least 3 years of experience in action and applied research
• The passion to work toward sustainable development through ecosystem regeneration and its management.
• The openness to working with a trans-disciplinary team
• The willingness to learn and adopt new technologies in your outreach to communities and in related applied/action research
• The commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of rural communities
• Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts in simple and direct language. 
• Knowledge of Hindi. Knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage
