PATH is currently recruiting a Senior Associate – Program Quality, to provide support in strengthening program quality by extending capabilities for project management for strategically important projects and developing high quality knowledge assets to capture PATH’s experiences and the lessons from them. He/she will be reporting to Lead – Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an annual portfolio of key public health projects (in terms of complexity, risk and/or business criticality) through effective management of schedule, scope, quality and risk, and, in coordination with PADMs, project budgets.
- Support the project teams in developing a comprehensive project plan, incorporating deliverables, milestones, accountabilities, communication plan and timelines.
- Assist project team members in writing project documents and editing drafts to ensure the highest-level possible activity outputs and deliverables.
- Ensure PATH and donor defined standards, tools, and norms for activity planning, management, communication, reporting and standard operating procedures are reinforced and adhered to in the execution of the project.
- Draft knowledge products as per the guidance from Lead – Knowledge Management and in consultation with the relevant program team members.
- Support in knowledge dissemination, which could include identifying knowledge sharing platforms, development of collaterals for knowledge sharing (like presentation decks) and facilitating organizing and conducting of knowledge sharing sessions.
- Support the program teams in reporting of program initiatives, including training and other capacity building initiatives.
- Support the technical team in writing routine project reports to donors and government.
- Support the Business Performance team with development of concept notes and technical proposals for new funding opportunities for both new and existing donors.
- Any other work, as assigned from time to time, by the program management focal person.
Required Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in management/ social sciences/ public health, or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience and demonstrated skills in project management and team management.
- Knowledge of project management, project reporting and risk management tools.
- Strong communication skills, capacity to understand situations and project scenarios and translate effectively into communication collaterals for stakeholders and partners.
- Well-organized and pays attention to details with good follow-through skills.
- Previous experience working in cross-functional teams (or a matrixed organizational structure).
- Good command over spoken and written English and Hindi.
- Computer proficiency with familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
- The candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player.
