**Remuneration:** ₹13,45,200 per annum

 

**About Greenpeace India:**

 

Greenpeace India is a part of the global Greenpeace network, dedicated to environmental protection and campaigning for positive change.  They work on various issues including clean energy, environmental protection, and health, utilizing non-violent direct action and advocacy.

 

**Experience Required:**

 

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in developing and implementing successful environmental campaigns.  Specific skills and experience needed include strategic planning, budget management, grant writing, research coordination, and team leadership.  Experience working with foundations, trusts, and grant-making organizations is essential.  A deep understanding of climate change issues is also required.

 

**Purpose of the Role:**

 

This role involves leading the strategic development and implementation of regional/national campaign plans related to climate change, contributing to the overall campaign strategy.  The Senior Campaigner will also be responsible for securing funding from various sources to support Greenpeace India’s mission and campaigns.

 

**Main Duties:**

 

* Lead the planning and strategy development of the climate campaign strand, collaborating with the team and Campaign Director.

* Plan, manage, and coordinate campaign/project activities to achieve objectives.

* Develop and implement systems to monitor and measure campaign effectiveness, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.

* Develop and manage budgets for the campaign strand, liaising with grant agencies as needed.

* Develop Greenpeace position papers on relevant campaign issues.

* Analyze political developments to inform campaign decisions.

* Initiate, identify researchers/institutions, and oversee campaign-related research (including preparing and negotiating terms of reference, agreeing on budgets, etc.), communicating findings internally and externally.

* Plan, conceptualize, and develop campaign logic for non-violent creative interventions.
