Requirements

Position Summary – 

We seek a seasoned Senior Communications and Partnerships Lead to be a fundamental pillar in expanding our outreach and impact. The role involves guiding communication strategies and cultivating partnerships to enhance fundraising avenues. The successful candidate will have the dynamism to build relationships that foster financial support and resonate with our mission and values.

Role and Responsibilities (including KRAs)

Strategic Communications:

• Develop and implement communication strategies in alignment with our mission
• Steer content creation to amplify our digital presence

Partnerships and Fundraising:

• Initiate and nurture sustainable partnerships
• Strategies and lead fundraising campaigns with clear deliverables on grant writing, submissions and in-person engagement with partners

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

• Mentor and foster growth within the partnerships & communications team
• Enhance visibility through strategic relationships with external stakeholders

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• Experience in crafting impactful communication strategies
• A proven track record in partnership establishment and fundraising
• A deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including proficiency with digital marketing tools
• Exceptional writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and tailored content for various audiences and platforms.

Education and Experience – 

The ideal candidate would hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; a Master’s degree would be an added advantage. We seek an individual with 6-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a non-profit environment.

Benefits

Compensation-

The compensation will be based on the Indus Action‘s compensation benchmarking rubric. The range of compensation will be depending on the qualifications, experience and fit to the role.

The candidate would need to use his/her own laptop and the organization will bear the annual maintenance cost of up to 12000 per year as per actuals.
