About Organization: Hasiru Dala, which means Green Force, is a social impact organisation that works with waste pickers and other waste workers to ensure a life with dignity. Hasiru Dala is registered as a charitable trust and works with waste pickers and informal waste workers to integrate them into the solid waste management of the city and gain access to social protection for themselves and their families.

We are working with waste pickers across Bengaluru, Mysuru, Tumakuru, Nelamangala, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapura, Hubli/Dharwad, Davanagere, Mangaluru, Rajahmundry, Trichy, Coimbatore, and many gram panchayats. We strive to create opportunities for waste pickers and their children to access social security and create opportunities for predictable livelihood and promote sustainable solid waste management.

Job Description

Position: Senior community facilitator: De -Addiction Centre

(Half of the project work will be field-based work)

Place of Posting: Bengaluru

Expected Date of Joining: Immediate

Salary / Package: CTC will be 2.5 to 3 Lakhs per annum.

Criteria:

1. Minimum 3 Year of Experience.

2. Speaking and reading a Kannada language is a must. Spoken fluency with Tamil and Hindi will be an added advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

De – addiction new program that is being developed by Hasiru Dala. Senior community facilitators will help in designing and implementing the program that is appropriate for the waste picker community.

Specific role includes:

✔ Design and develop a de-addiction referral and counselling program for Hasiru Dala

✔ Co creates awareness programs about dependence-producing substances in the communities.

✔ Accompanying role to support individual cases who have signed for de-Addiction program.

✔ Build a network of individuals and organizations (govt and private) who provide services for de addiction programs.

✔ Design system/s to evaluate the satisfaction level of the program participants regarding the services provided by Hasiru Dala De-addiction Centre’s.

✔ Report writing of all the activities

✔ Any other related functions that may be required

Qualifications:

✔ Formal training in counselling or 3-5 years of experience in community de-addiction program/s.

✔ Knowledge of Basic Computer, MS office, Digital Literacy is must.
