Job Description:
The Senior Manager – Operations will lead procurement, asset management and administrative support functions of the organisation enabling programme teams to achieve operational efficiency. He / She will oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operations. The Senior Manager – Operations will have overall strategic and operational responsibilities towards driving the vision and mission of the organisation.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective and manage team members while controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Analyse and take initiatives to improve process and time efficiency in all operational responsibilities of the organisation
- Planning and managing the organisation’s operations and other general administrative functions across all chapters nationally while evaluating the satisfaction of all stakeholders
- Coordinating annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates for the senior management
- Take complete ownership for all assets of the organisation and have periodic monitoring and reporting mechanism
Other Responsibilities:
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility, while also performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
- Manage other day to day operations and logistics based on the need of the organisation
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
- Minimum Seven years of relevant work experience
- Three or more years of proven success in an operations management role
- Any graduate in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
- Proven experience managing procurement, organisation assets and supply chain operations
- Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set, and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
- Ability to find innovative solutions to operational needs of the organisation
- Should be able to collaborate with multiple teams internally and external vendors
- Strong influencing skills, collaborative, networking and listening skills
- Strong IT skills and aptitude for adoption of digital technology
- Leadership skills and ability to mentor a team of Operations executives

Scope: Full time
Remuneration: Negotiable based on candidate’s profile
