Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to lead our Content and Creative team. You will play a critical role in developing and executing our content strategy, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice, maximizes SEO performance, and engages our target audience across various digital platforms. You will also be responsible for driving creative and design initiatives to communicate our mission and inspire action.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy: Develop and oversee a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our company’s goals, target audience, and brand identity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content reflects our brand values and resonates with our customers.
  • Editorial Calendar: Create and maintain a well-structured editorial calendar that encompasses various content formats, including articles, blogs, videos, infographics, and social media posts. Ensure a consistent and timely flow of content that supports marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Brand Voice: Define and maintain a consistent brand voice across all content channels. Train and guide the content team and other stakeholders to adhere to the established brand guidelines.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement editorial SEO strategies to enhance the discoverability of our content, improve organic search rankings, and drive relevant traffic to our digital platforms. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
  • Digital Platforms Management: Oversee the management and optimization of content on various digital platforms, including the company website, social media channels, email campaigns, and third-party partnerships. Identify new and emerging platforms to expand our content reach.
  • Analytics & Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyze the performance of content initiatives regularly. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize content strategies and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engagement, reach, and conversion.
  • Trendspotting: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content formats. Integrate new ideas and technologies into our content strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of content creators, writers, designers, and other creative professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive creativity and productivity.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, influencers, and other organizations in the social sector to leverage collaboration opportunities and enhance the reach of our content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in content strategy development and execution, with a strong focus on SEO optimization and digital platforms.
  • Experience in multimedia campaign planning including storyboarding, development of collaterals, and video production
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation in the content domain. Ability to deliver on complex communication in the social sector, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact on society.
  • Strong analytical mindset, using data-driven insights to inform content decisions and measure performance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of creative professionals.
