**Experience Required:**
– At least 12 to 14 years of relevant work experience in areas such as rural development, agriculture, forest ecosystems, climate adaptation, NBS, and resilience building.
– A master’s degree in agriculture sciences, sustainable agriculture management, forest studies, rural development, environmental sustainability, or a related field.
**About the Role:**
The Senior Specialist for Food Systems will lead grant and program management, focusing on agroecological approaches and sustainable food systems. Responsibilities include managing grants, donor engagement, fundraising, knowledge generation, and strategic initiatives to enhance agricultural resilience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Execute and manage Agroecological Transformations and Food Systems Programmes.
– Implement people-first approaches in vulnerable ecosystems.
– Lead strategic planning, networking, and knowledge sharing for ICC-supported initiatives.
– Oversee grant management and liaise with partner organizations.
– Develop donor engagement strategies and fundraising efforts.
– Stay updated on food systems, climate resilience, and biodiversity trends.
**Requirements:**
– Strong understanding of Indian food systems and agricultural landscapes.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
– Strategic thinking, creativity, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.
