Job Summary

Corporate Partnership (B2B) vertical is the most important segment of the Resource Mobilization section in Smile Foundation as 80% of the resources for the organization are raised and managed by this vertical. The purpose of the said position is to build partnerships with HR verticals of corporate primarily to raise funds through the following activities:

  • Pay Roll Giving (PRG)
  • Online Donation drive
  • Employee Engagement Activities
  • Other HR driven events such as employee participation in Marathons etc

The person in-charge shall create win-win proposition between the HR mandate of corporate and the kind of activities/events which Smile can offer leading towards fundraising for long term sustainability of programmes and organization as a whole.

The person in-charge will work in collaboration with regional teams in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. However, he/she will directly report to the Head – Corporate Partnerships. In last few years Smile Foundation has successfully partnered and executed events/activities with corporate like Adobe, Intel, CISCO, Google, Ericsson, Microsoft, Blackrock and many more.

Job Description

  • Devise, develop, maintain and implement successful income generation strategy from various HR interventions of companies such as Employee Engagement, Pay Roll Giving and Online Donation Drive
  • Nurture and manage key corporate relationships in order to maximize their long-term contribution to the organization
  • Build new relationships with major corporate and brands, especially with HR heads for long term support specially through Pay Roll Giving programme
  • Ability to design and develop employee engagement centric events and campaigns
  • Work closely with communication team/external creative agency towards developing marketing material like emailers, presentations, microsite and other collaterals which shall help in creating leads
  • Ensuring major donors or Corporate are content with their contribution and are kept informed of progress and milestones
  • Generating leads through extensive research and networking
  • Ensure achievements for self and team
  • Ensure effective donor nurturing and engaging corporate partners
  • Keep up to date with developments and compliance in fundraising
  • Budgeting, planning and ensuring high ROI activities

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Preferably an advance university degree in marketing, international development/development studies, social sciences or similar fields.

Experience 

  • At least 3 -6 years of work experience in business development (B2B) role with at least 3
    years of experience in CSR based fundraising
  • The person should be a dynamic business development professional, having skills to influence senior leaders in CSR space of corporates
  • Decent knowledge on CSR budgets, social campaigns, employee engagement activities
  • He/she should be adept at people management, building long-term relationships with
    potential donors or existing partners
  • Ability to achieve fundraising targets

  • High energy, enthusiasm and passion towards delivering impactful results
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work cross function
  • Proven ability to build long term relationship with corporate clients
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and yet in a collaborative manner
