Job Description

Consultants, hereforth referred to as “State Coordinators” provide critical thinking and analytical inputs to support National Health Authority’s engagement with various States and Union Territories (UTs) implementing Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).State Coordinators must possess the ability to work in cross-functional and highly dynamic environment to ensure operational excellence across all aspects of scheme implementation such as beneficiary mobilization, hospital empanelment, utilization of healthcare services, insurance claims adjudication and financial aspects.State Coordinators must actively collaborate with other divisions of NHA and actively handhold them through their engagement with respect to State Health Agencies to ensure seamless translation of requirements.State Coordinators must possess capability to manage a wide variety of stakeholders across the AB PM-JAY implementation ecosystem. These range from senior government officials, medical practitioners, insurance professionals, district level officials, grass-roots functionaries and the scheme beneficiaries.State Coordinators must be willing to undertake travel across their States/UTs and comfortable with spending time in remote and rural communities to ensure effective oversight of AB PM-JAY.State Coordinators are required to posses strong drafting and communication skills to convey the modalities of AB PM-JAY through DO Letters, Press Releases, Presentations, Concept Notes. State Coordinators are required to foster a cohesive and collaborative work ecosystem to actively enlist the support of NHA and SHA resources to respond to strategic/dynamic circumstances

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Graduate + MBA/MSW or Equivalent Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a leading development sector organization, management consultancy, or a similar type of private sector experience
