Position Brief

Waste Warriors is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our closely-knit fundraising team. We have made significant developments in the last 1 year and have several ambitious projects planned ahead. You will assist in planning and implementing these projects, with a particular focus on fundraising campaigns. You will have the opportunity to be highly involved in a number of different aspects of the organization: waste management in urban & remote rural areas, communications with stakeholders, interaction with new clients, and more. You will work in a fast-paced, high-growth-oriented organization with opportunities to grow and gain experience in diverse projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

To raise funds through various channels to support the ongoing projects and to assist in expansion.
To research, analyze, draft proposals and financials to onboard new clients/organizations in line with the organization’s vision
To keep our CRM updated to track and monitor the fundraising pipeline.
To manage all financial documentation related to each project cycle, including budgets, expenses, cost estimates, procurement orders, utilization certificates, MoUs, etc reimbursements, and invoices.
To leverage organizations’ strengths to build synergies and emotional intelligence to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders for future fundraising.
To strategically assist in ideating, planning, and executing organizational fundraising campaigns using multiple media platforms and the new program implementation.

An Ideal Candidate Will:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Business Studies or Marketing
3+ years of experience in fundraising, business development, or sales with non-profits or startups.
Be highly organized and detail-oriented
Be a people-first person, able to build deep meaningful relationships with multiple stakeholders
Be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong ability to work as part of a team.
Manage time efficiently and keep track of multiple important responsibilities.
Be proficient using tools like G-Suite, MS Office (Excel), and basic ICT skills.
Have strong communication (verbal and written) skills in English.
Have experience in project planning, process documentation, budgeting, and troubleshooting.
Have a genuine interest in the social sector and are passionate about the environment.
