Video Script Writer/ Producer
As a Video Producer / Script Writer at The Better India, you will
- Be essentially a story teller with the knack of telling stories that inform, entertain and engage.
- Write quick, engaging, crisp and grammatically correct scripts for videos with strong hooks
- Exceptional ideation and research skills for long format video stories
- Write social media copies and suggest headlines to be shared for all The Better India videos posted on different social channels.
- Keep an eye out for interesting stories/ new series that can be pitched.
- Independently come up with ideas for specific events (Ex: Video on Mother’s day, Video on republic day etc)
- Work with editors to oversee the stories finalization.
- Ensure that the quality of the final story is top-notch.
Our ideal colleague will be
- A professional with 3-5 years experience in writing scripts/copy
- A Graduate/ Post Graduate in Communications and Journalism or Film Studies
- From a digital news/ content media organization
Must have Qualifications & Skills
- Possessing a flawless understanding of Grammar and punctuation
- Needs to have in depth knowledge of videos
- Someone with the ability to write the same story in different styles.
- An expert in different writing styles that is native to the story type (Ex: Travel, Drama, Sports etc)
