We are looking to recruit a Communications Manager to enhance Takshashila’s media engagement and the reach of our research and education initiatives.
The position is located in Bangalore, India.
What the role will require you to do:
- Develop and execute PR campaigns for TI’s research and education initiatives
- Plan and organize events
- Write and publish press releases and event reports
- Engage with journalists and media outlets to amplify Takshashila’s outputs
- Address media inquiries
- Oversee creation of and edit promotional material and publications (newsletters, brochures, videos, and social media posts)
- Pursue opportunities for partnerships and collaboration
- Ensure consistency in and integrity of brand messaging
What we are looking for in you is to have:
- At least 2 years of experience in PR/communications
- Proficiency in using design tools like Photoshop and Canva
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, particularly in writing
- Video-scripting and editing skills are preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask
- A bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism
