Job Opportunity for Executive – Education Projects, Community Investments at United Way Mumbai

Reporting to: Manager, Community Investment

Job Description:

• Efficient implementation of education projects related to improving learning outcomes among school going children
• Stakeholder management for efficient implementation of project activities especially with relevant government authorities for education projects
• Monitoring and evaluation visits to the partners where project activities have been conducted
• Document the project activities and outcomes on regular basis and submit the project status reports to the donor as per the committed timelines
• Due diligence and capacity building of partners for implementation of project activities
• Regular financial reporting, budgeting
• Any other responsibility assigned 

You are the right person if you are:

• Self-starter and can lead project implementation independently
• Organised and an excellent communicator- written as well as oral
• Able to multi task
• A people’s person with natural flair and passion towards improving quality of education among children from underprivileged communities
• Proficient in communicating in English and Hindi (proficiency in Marathi will be an added preference)
• Proficient with MS office
• An excellent team player
• Willing to travel extensively in the field 

Qualification:

• Post-Graduationin development studies (focus on Education will be preferred)
• Desired work experience of one year preferably in development sector but not necessary 

Remuneration:

• Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is ₹ 3.6 L to Rs 4.2 L p.a.
