Job Description
The Ignite Shelters programme has been supporting the dreams of hundreds of children in shelter homes and orphanages. The dream of an excellent education to ensure a sustainable livelihood as adults.
The Programme Associate shall be responsible for collaborating with volunteer leaders in ensuring the effective functioning of the learning centres. High ownership, team spirit, and the ability to build a good rapport with colleagues, coordinators, and volunteers are important.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the effective and efficient day-to-day operation and delivery of the programme
- Continuously monitor the timely implementation of the goals
- Track, analyse data, identify trends, prepare reports, and share with all relevant stake holders
- Help identify and implement creative solutions for any problems
- Provide support to the volunteers to envision the goals for the programme and help ensure success
Requirements
Preferred Education Qualification/ Experience:
- Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline
- Volunteer experience especially in teaching with Bhumi (preferred) or similar organisations preferred
- Teaching, leadership experience will be helpful
- Project management experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
- Good influencing skills, people engagement, networking, and listening skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Emotional maturity to empathize with the perspectives/needs of team members
- Good computer knowledge and MS office skills
- Highly resourceful team player, who is self-driven
- Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Other Information:
Reporting to: Manager, Ignite
Scope: Full time
Remuneration: CTC 2.5-3.6 LPA, based on the candidate’s profile
Minimum commitment: Two years
