**Position:** Senior Research Associate – Scaling Every Child Counts in India

**About the Role:**  

J-PAL South Asia seeks a motivated Senior Research Associate to lead Monitoring & Evaluation efforts for scaling the Every Child Counts (ECC) program across Andhra Pradesh and parts of North India. The role involves engaging with NGOs, government stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure robust implementation of the ECC program.

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Design and oversee M&E processes, including field-based observations and assessments.

– Manage and evaluate pilots conducted by partner NGOs under the ECC Certificate Program.

– Conduct data cleaning, analysis, and synthesis; generate aggregated insights for stakeholders.

– Liaise with project teams to provide statistics and support decision-making.

– Engage with government stakeholders and work closely with the policy team on advocacy materials.

– Facilitate M&E-related trainings and develop resources for practitioners.

– Prepare documentation and reports for donor reporting and dissemination activities.

**Required Qualifications:**  

– Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Economics, Education, Public Policy, or related fields.

– At least 2 years of professional experience in education or development with M&E exposure.

– Proficiency in Stata and SurveyCTO; strong analytical and quantitative skills.

– Fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English.

– Willingness to be based in Vijayawada initially, with flexibility for travel across Andhra Pradesh and North India.
