Job Description
The South Asia Market team is responsible for servicing and growing the membership in South Asia, as well as contributing to the development of the social investment ecosystem. We are seeking an intern to support our efforts. The benefits for candidates are the tangible involvement in the sector’s core practices and access to AVPN’s network of grant-making and impact investing organisations.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in servicing the relationships and accounts with existing members in South Asia
- Support the engagements and programmes that include members, SPOs, and partners in South Asia, including but not limited to roundtable and panel discussions, workshops, webinars, and seminars
- Support in the identification of fundraising and partnership opportunities in South Asia
- Conduct research on the social investments ecosystem in South Asia to better understand members and prospects
- Provide administrative support for the team
Requirements
- A passion to contribute to the growth of social investment in Asia
- Ability to support multiple projects and work with little supervision
- Familiarity and ease in vertical and lateral collaboration with leadership, colleagues, and external partners
- Detail-oriented and well organized in managing multiple stakeholders and timelines
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to support in administrative tasks
- Strong written and spoken English
