7 Education qualification

Essential:

Persons with Master’s degree in English/Political Science/Sociology or MA/MSc/Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication/Public Relations or MA/MSc in Public Policy

8 Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the above-mentioned subjects

9 Job description

1. Editorial

• Edit/proofread/quality-check all NITI Aayog documents, including reports, working/research papers, op-eds, etc.

2. Strategic Communications

• Ideate and strategize for key NITI campaigns and schemes by blending traditional media with social media outreach to inform and serve citizens.

• Work closely with NITI Aayog’s social media and creative agencies for the execution of all communications surrounding any event/campaign/initiative.

3. Social Media Outreach

• Work closely with the social media agency to build a following across all key platforms to reach out to a wider audience and routinely amplify any initiative/event/launch.

• Work closely with the creative agency for the preparation of creative collaterals required for social media publicity.

4. Website/s Management

• Work closely with the website management agency and NIC to ensure regular updation, hygiene and security checks.
