ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY – SENIOR MANAGER, ALUMNI RELATIONS

For the last ten years, Medha has delivered a unique experiential learning program to young people in the ‘Hindi-belt.’

Based on the Four Cs of 21st-century skills – communications, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking – the program aims to prepare young people to start and excel in diverse career paths of their choice.

Constantly upgraded and enhanced, the program has evolved significantly over the last decade, along with changing student and market demands. As we look to the future of learning and work, we are doubling down on the program’s transformative impact on young people’s lives.

The Senior Manager- Alumni Programs will monitor design, development and implementation of alumni core offerings, based on the emerging needs. The candidate has to be a mentor, coordinator and motivator for Project Leads and be responsible for the overall programs’ impact. We are looking for someone who has a prior experience in project management and a diverse skillset to contribute in technology as well as design projects.

What you will do:

  • Develop need-based alumni programs: You will be accountable for the timely design and implementation of alumni core offerings, led by Program Managers. These programs are both tech as well as skill based initiatives.
  • Create strong monitoring & evaluation framework: All programs must contribute to the overall objectives and goals, must be data driven and have a strong impact evaluation framework.
  • Funder engagement & reporting: Every offering is supported by a specific Funder for a specific tenure. Your role as a Senior Manager will be to build long-term partnerships and submit regular update reports to the existing as well as potential funders.
  • Team management & performance review: You will be handling a team of project managers/coordinators with diverse needs and skillset. You are required to provide growth opportunities for them and build a culture of peer learning.

While no two days are the same, some may look like this:

  • You are reviewing an M&E framework for our women-centric project: Simmer prepared by the Program Lead.
  • You have a Quarterly Catch-up call with one of your funders.
  • You are planning your next team workshop based on their up-skilling needs.
  • You are invited to a regional conference to represent Medha Alumni Initiatives.
  • You provide your feedback on the user experience of Medhavi App.
  • You ensure all the projects are meeting their deadlines and desired milestones.
