About the Role:
We are looking for someone who can help build authentic narratives that connect with our stakeholders. Content with engages, inspires, educates and persuades. We are looking for a blend of creative and data-driven content and stories that can be built using design, data and design.
You will help us expand our foundation’s web presence and reach new audience groups. Your writing style should be sharp, highly engaging, and have a proven ability to draw readers in. At eGov Foundation, you will get the chance to both strategize and execute different content assets to shape the brand and the story.
Your role would involve:
- Writing articles, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, company anecdotes, promotional emails, website & app content and press releases, etc.
- It would include all forms of content – short, long, conversational, listicles, script for video, podcasts, webinar presentations and promotional materials etc. based on the key objectives
- Content style would be aligned with the content requirements for relevant audience group
- Staying up-to-date with the ongoing social media trends as well information about the sector and the internal missions
- Tracking and optimizing content performance across all channels (you need not be an expert in analytics, but an appreciation of data and the ability to fine tune content based on feedback is required)
- Collaborating across teams to discuss and produce content, including research, as needed
- Thinking strategically around content creation based on the target segment- Identify target audience’s needs and gaps in our content and recommend content strategy and build the content pipeline.
- The written pieces must be well-researched using the right keywords and with the right style & tone
- Collaborating with eGov’s in-house design team to develop compelling visuals (don’t worry – they’ll do the design work, but you should be able to verbalize your vision)
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who loves thinking, writing and designing with words, numbers and images.
- An experience of 5+ years with strong quality of content
- A natural flair for writing with a love for the language
- An understanding of SEO would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of technology as it applies through Digital Public Goods
- Significant amount of content written in the entire content writing career and can present their portfolio live
- Passion for writing and urge to consume knowledge
- Work experience of a senior position and had worked as an integral part of the organization
- Would be preferred if you have a background in the social sector

Who you are:
Skills Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role, for management consulting, not-for-profit or technology/product organizations
- Analytical Thinking & Good communication skills
- International work exposure with Governments and Multilateral donors will be desired
- Work experience in a Start-Up will be preferred
- Executional understanding of Public health will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
