Tech Mahindra Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra Limited, a Mahindra Group Company. The Foundation set up in 2007, as a Section 25 Company (referred to as a Section 8 Company in the Companies Act, 2013), has been working tirelessly in the areas of education, disability and employability with a keen focus on corporate volunteering. It operates across eleven locations in India.
The Foundation has been running SMART Academies (since May 2016) with the intent of offering more advanced and longer-term courses in some specialized vocations. At present, the Foundation runs eight Tech Mahindra SMART Academies, including four SMART Academies for Healthcare, three SMART Academies for Digital Technologies and one SMART Academy for Logistics.
The goal of setting up these Academies was twofold — create, build and nurture youth to develop skills in specific industries including healthcare, digital technologies and logistics along with uplifting country’s youth and transforming them into world-class professionals. The Academies offer both diploma and certificate (by the qualified professionals) courses.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Complete ownership and responsibility for overseeing TMF’s presence across social media platforms
• Develop creative and engaging social media strategies and manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
• Work on the content and creatives for Social Media posts
• Managing comments and TMF official email with a view to achieve a good response and high engagement rate
• Analysing engagement data, identifying trends in interactions and planning the content to build and increase our community online.
• Form relationships with influencers across social media platforms.
• Identification, writing, editing of the success stories and posting the same on social media.
• Quality testing of communication creatives and reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications.
• Digital Content Creation including Blog Writing, Editing and updating.
• All writing needs to be from ideation to research to draft making till proofreading and before going online or getting published.
• Should be able to also undertake creative copy content for TMF and its programmes’ brochures, success stories, creatives, posters, mailers, banners, internal newsletter, etc.
• Coordination with creative agencies for Films and Video assignments, graphic designer and internal teams.
• Ensuring that all communication and content is consistent with guidelines.
• Willing to commute and travel for work
• Any other work assigned by the Reporting Manager
Desired Skills set:
• Proven work experience in a similar role
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Having worked in a social sector organization or education domain will be an added advantage.
Experience: 6-10 years of experience
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduation in Mass Communication/ Marketing or any other allied field
