**Job Description:**
The Associate Manager, Business Finance will play a crucial role in driving the financial health of The/Nudge. This involves strategic and operational budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing expense allocations across programs and donor projects, ensuring timely and accurate expense reporting.
* Owning the end-to-end financials of the donor grant cycle (budgeting, forecasting, utilization reporting).
* Preparing project-level expense projections in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Developing and providing routine and ad-hoc analytical reports to senior management and program leads.
* Conducting variance analysis and offering insights to improve business decisions.
* Fostering strong partnerships with accounting and business teams to ensure timely and accurate book closing.
* Interacting with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
**Experience Required:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. (MBA or CA qualification preferred but not mandatory).
* 6-8 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Strategy & Operations.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment.
* Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* High proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of Tally/other ERPs and Power BI.
