Dream a Dream is a registered, charitable trust empowering children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and flourish in the 21st century using a creative life skills approach. Over the last two decades Dream a Dream has worked with over 10,000 students every year to bridge this gap by imparting essential life skills in children to empower them to overcome adversity and thrive. The After School Life Skills Program (ASLSP) is designed to develop new approaches to life skills whereas the Career Connect Program (CCP) equips 14-19-year-olds with information and skills to make a healthy transition to adulthood and career opportunities. As a part of the Teacher Development Program (TDP), the organisation has trained over 35,000 teachers/educators from 206 partners and impacted the lives of over 1.5 million children through our national strategic partnerships.

Role Objective/Purpose (include overall objectives of the role, the need for the position, etc.) :

Reporting to the Associate Director- Operations, the Associate Manager is responsible assesses organization wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods also responsible for rolling out employment policies and procedures, overseeing rewards and recognition programs as well as managing workplace safety initiatives. Along with administering employee-benefit programs.

Reporting Manager: Associate Director – Operations

Salary range per Annum: INR 6.8- 7.5 Lac

Roles and responsibilities (include scope, accountability, goals to be achieved by the role, people management, function and HR management):

· Maintaining a keen understanding of learning & development trends, developments and best practices.

· Identifying current and future developmental needs at the individual level, and capacity building requirements at the institutional level

· Collaborate with managers to develop their team members through career pathing

· Driving and facilitating the implementation of the L&D Plan to ensure smooth execution with effective outcomes

· Conceptualizing innovative and flexible methods to address the developmental and capacity building needs identified, including identification of external training programs and conferences

· Design and delivery of in-house training sessions, enrolment in online learning programs, mentoring, self-learning, and other methods as appropriate

· Tracking L&D related data and generating regular MIS reports as required and reporting

· Conducting Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across the Organisation

· Assisting with the performance management and review process

· Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements

· Provide operations support to other department

Requirements (include Education, Required Skills/Qualifications; Experience/acquired knowledge requirements, preferred Skills (if any) :

· Any graduate/ Master’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in relevant field and sector.

. High quality written and verbal communication skills, strong listening skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels in the organization

· Good knowledge of the training/learning related offerings available in the market, including relevant training organizations and service providers

· Exposure to authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development systems, tools and resources.

· Demonstrated success in implementing innovative training techniques and learning technologies, in multiple areas including managerial and leadership development areas;

· Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
